new Lsyncd package for Debian squeeze build

new Lsyncd package for Debian squeeze build

yesterday i have build some lsyncd package from http:--code.google.com-p-lsyncd- for easy installation on Debian Systems . The Problem is, that on squeeze are only lsyncd in Version 1 is available. Version 2 support lua Scripting and you can for example implement folder actions and so on. Description of lsyncd: Lsyncd watches a local directory trees event monitor interface (inotify). It aggregates and combines events for a few seconds and then spawns one (or more) process(es) to synchronize the changes. By default this is rsync. Lsyncd is thus a light-weight live mirror solution that is comparatively easy to install not requiring new filesystems or blockdevices and does not hamper local filesystem performance. Installation edit your -etc-apt-sources.list and add the following line:

deb http:--debian.drucko.at squeeze .-

apt-get update && apt-get install lsyncd -y

Thats all and you have installed lsyncd in Version 2.0.4 with lua Support. If you have problems or questions please post it in the Comments. with kind regards Drucko
